Kismet is Carrie Hamilton’s independent graphic design studio, specializing in design for publishing, entertainment and the arts.

Before founding Kismet, Carrie enjoyed a long stint as a freelance designer and art director, working with a broad range of companies including PolyGram Records, Bill Smith Studio, TIAA-Cref, RCA Records, Doyle Partners, and Empire Design Studio. She eventually signed on there as Senior Designer.

Carrie’s work has won awards from AIGA and The Bookbinders’ Guild of New York, and has been featured in Metropolis magazine. She is currently an instructor at Parsons The New School for Design, and she earned her BFA from Pratt Institute in 1994.
